Generic: Sitagliptin

Class: DPP-4 inhibitor

Supplied in: 25 mg. 50 mg, 100 mg25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg

Action: Works to help your body produce more insulin after a meal. It also reduces the amount of glucose your liver produces between meals and/or overnight.

Timing: take once daily with or without food

Side Effects: Hypoglycemia, allergic reaction, upper respiratory infection, stuffy or runny nose, and sore throat.
